Azalea Complex, Epilogue

Once upon a time, a queen and her King were being good parents. The Queen was teaching her little boy, Briar, how to use a potty chair.

King Geoffrey was feeding the little princess, Primrose.

And the royal kitty, Demeter, grew into a beautiful grown-up cat!

The royal family had recently added a fun treehouse for when their kids were older(or even, maybe, for them!)

They also bought lots of hay and a second stall for Athena, the normal horsie, and Titan, the unicorn.

The Queen would spend many late nights taking care of the animals, especially making sure that Athena, who was pregnant, was clean and happy. This particular night, when she was done taking care of the animals, her mommy was sitting on the couch, waiting for her.

"Azalea, this is not story time. Please, baby, try to be serious."

"What's wrong, Momma?" I asked as I sat down.

"This is very hard news, and it's even harder because I've waited as long as I have, but you need to know. We...aren't completely the same as other sims," She said, biting her lip.

"But we are," I said, "We look like sims, act like sims, and sound like sims, so of course we're sims!"

"You are mostly sim, yes," Momma smiled, "But there is more to us."

My mind started wandering, "Are we part unicorn?" I asked. trying to stay super serious, "Or maybe part fairy?"

"No, no," Momma laughed softly, "We're not part unicorn, or part fairy. My mother was a goddess-turned-sim."

"Gramma's a goddess?!" I bounced, "That's so cool!!!"

"Sort of. She was a goddess, but then she became a sim. She wouldn't tell me what happened and why she came to this realm, but she did."

"Do we have magic powers?" I asked, practically bouncing off the seat.

"We each have one power. Your grandma could make people happy by looking her in the eyes," Mom explained slowly.

"Do you have that power too?" I asked, wondering why she'd hide behind sunglasses if she could make people happy.

"No...mine makes people feel, but not in the same way," she said. I would'a bugged her about her power more, but I was too excited to concentrate on that.

"That's still superduper cool! You're magical!" I clapped with happiness. Momma was magical! "What about my aunts and uncles, and Iris and Oak?"

"I think one of your aunts had the same power as Grandma, and Iris did too. I don't remember anything like that from your uncles or Oak, though."

"What about me? Am I special, too?"

"Yes, of course you are!" Momma smiled, "You make people good...you make them feel as though they should be kind and innocent, and not...something else."

"I make people good? How cool!" I couldn't believe it, I had such an awesome power! "I have to go tell Geoffrey!"

"Wait," Momma slowly got up, "Please don't! No one other than those hwo have the powers have ever known. Not even Grandpa or your dad knew!"

"But...but Geoffrey won't do anything bad! He's my best friend, I've never kept a secret from him!"

"I know...I know," she bit her lip and begged me, "Please, just don't tell him yet."

I was gonna fight her, but...I guess she knew what she was talking about, "Fine. But...why'd you tell me, now?"

She smiled, "You always seemed like such an innocent little girl, I never wanted to make you worry about it. I needed to tell you now, because if something happens to me, you need to be able to tell your grandchildren."

I hugged Momma then, "I love you, Mommy," I said. She's the best.

I heard Briar crying from the other room, "Wanna hear a story? It's about this queen, who's part goddess."

Briar just looked at me funny and went potty. He mumbled "too tire for story Momma," so I put him to bed instead.

The next morning was Primrose's birthday!

"Oh, she's going to be so cute," Momma said, while Geoffrey blew through one of our party blowers.

"She's perfect," Geoffrey commented, "Just like her momma!"

After blowing out the candles and watching her grow up, I dressed her in a pretty little outfit.

I was holding Primrose, having just put on her hat, 'cause she has super wild hair, when I heard Athena neighing like crazy in the back yard.

By the time I got out to check on them, Athena had had a super pretty baby! We found out it was a boy, and decided to name him Apollo.

Life couldn't get better than this, with two little kids to play with, and more animals than you can count, and a best friend, and Mommy!
