Bay Complex, Chapter 7

Over the next few days, all I seemed to do was take care of babies. Feed Azalea, snuggle her and play with her, change her dirty diapers, and repeat on Iris, let Oak out of his crib and give him a bottle, teach him how to talk or walk or use the potty in my spare time.

One day, while I was finishing up taking care of Iris, I snidely thought about how taking care of toddlers would be my full time job, when Azalea and Iris grow up. If only, I thought, I could get paid for watching babies.

That's it! There is a career I could take on, one that would let me stay home with the kids, but still give me plenty of money.

I would open a day care center!!

After the girls grew up, I started teaching them.

I knew I couldn't open a daycare center now, when I have three toddlers, all who need to learn how to use the potty, talk, and walk.

Right then, I decided that I would open the center when I finished teaching Oak all of his important skills.

When I was doing something else, like bathing or using the bathroom, the kids always pulled out these special toys they had. Each of them had been sent by one of their distant relatives. I had only seen a doll like theirs once before. Yarrow had gotten one when she was a baby. She loved the doll just as much as my children loved theirs.

I spent all my free time teaching Oak how to walk and use the potty, until one day, he had mastered them both.

As soon as I did it, I went to the computer and got a license to babysit, as well as put out internet ads about my new business; Bay's Babysitting.

Then I opened up my messenger. There were no messages from Edwin, which was odd...usually we messaged each other at least a few times a week, but it's been almost an entire week and he hasn't responded.

Pinkeyedandsexy says: Hey, I got a job. It isn't very high paying, so I'm going to just stay with Luke a little longer so I can make sure this job is a good one. Oak is going to grow up soon. I don't know what I'm going to do about his bed...we don't have enough money to add a whole new room to the house and I don't want to make him share a room with toddlers. I know I'll think of something. About the job, though. I opened a babysitting company. I don't know how many client's I'll get at first, though. It's almost time. I hope to hear from you soon.

  2. Yeah, I was trying to figure out what to have her do. Before I got Generations, I was planning on having her have other people move in just for their money and then dump them...but this seemed like a better option, and much more like her. Currently writing the next chapter, and about to cry.
